“Voices in My Head” portrays intrusive thoughts and an internalised critical voice rather than voices heard from an external source. Repeating phrases, tightening loops, and unstable textures reproduce the way unwanted thoughts return, gather emotional authority, and turn fear into self-accusation. The track follows a mind attempting to distinguish thought from fact while inherited judgments continue to speak in the first person. Its climax is not a battle against an unseen entity, but against a learned pattern of self-surveillance in which the mind becomes both accuser and accused.
