“Peace” draws on Jesus’ promise to his disciples before the Crucifixion: “My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives.” Soft, flowing melodies represent a peace that does not depend on safety, comfort, or the absence of suffering. Warmer harmonies emerge through moments of tension, reflecting Christ’s assurance that trouble remains present in the world but does not possess final authority. The track presents peace as courage, trust, and inward steadiness sustained through communion with Christ.
